DANCENETTE is presented 7-8pm on the 2nd Sunday of every month (beginning February 10, 2013). Anything can happen. You may discover your new favourite artist, a new dance style or an extraordinary fusion experiment.  Culture specific dance, contemporary dance, martial arts, dub poetry, drag performance, acrobatics.  If it is bodies moving, it belongs on the DANCENETTE stage. Come to be inspired an…d join in the creativity and excitement. DANCENETTE, originally called DANCENET, ran from 1994 to 1999 once a month featuring 10  movement acts in an evening. Over 500 acts were presented in these years. So many of Toronto’s artists first honed their craft  or debuted their new idea on this eclectic and inspiring stage. After a long hiatus, the fans are still asking for its return. Finally , 2013  will see its return with a whole new generation of artists and some old favourites. The DANCENETTE stage is a welcoming meeting place for all kinds of artists presenting limitless realms of movement expression, experimentation and fusion exploration.
