Linlin Wang graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2004, studying with Erhu master Professor Guotong Wang. In 2003 she toured with the Academy’s Chinese ensemble to Singapore and Malaysia. From 2004 to 2010, she was a member of the Guangdong National Chinese Orchestra. In 2005 and 2006, she was also a member of the Zhejiang Chinese Orchestra.   She has performed in Germany, Egypt, Switzerland, Netherlands, Finland, the Caribbean, Sweden, Prague, and Vienna. Since immigrating to Canada, she has continued to teach and perform.  In 2011, she performed for TEDx meetings, Rising Stars Gala, Chinese New Year, “Ya An” fundraising, Bollywood Film 100th Anniversary, Fairchild Spring Festival Gala 2014 and 2015, Dragon Ball Gala 2014 and 2015 and more. She is an enthusiastic teacher and has trained many Erhu novices.
