WORLD TOURS!!!  Some of Toronto’s best musician’s have been globetrotting!

In August bassist Rich Brown played the Kuala Lumpur International Jazz Festival in Malaysia with New Yorker Rudresh Mahanthappa and he  just returned from a European Tour to Germany, France, Norway, Switzerland and Portugal with another New Yorker, Donny McCaslin.  With barely enough time to catch his breath, he’s back out with  Mahanthappa in Croatia and Serbia.

Samba Squad-er Rick Shadrach Lazar has been touring Brazil and Argentina with Loreena McKennitt.

Lillian Allen was invited to speak at Harvard University on Monday Oct. 28th, 2013, a Canada Harvard Seminar, Weatherhead Center for International Affairs and the Dept. of English and American Literature and Language.  Here she is with Teddy Roosevelt!
